ARTEFACT#6 EYES

MA Fashion Artefact

OUTROSPECTION; THE BODY AND MIND This project has taken as a starting point the concept of "Outrospection" initially introduced by philosopher Roman Kznaric, where he proposes that in order to know oneself one must live towards the outside, it is be experiencing life that one discovers and shapes oneself. I have appropriated his concept while relating it to out-of-body experiences or astral projections, by seeking to represent -in a metaphorical way- the mind being projected inwards out of the body as a way of self-expresion and representation. The collection has been made out of porcelain body casts, gold plated brass metal frames around the body, hand turned Colombian kingwood handles and vegetable-tanned leather harnesses. COLLABORATION For the slip-casting I worked side by side with ceramicist Kate Luck. PHOTOGRAPHER Jorge Perez Ortiz MODEL&DANCER Lukasz Przytarski http://cargocollective.com/danielramoso

www.lindseytaitdesign.com e: lindseytaitdesign@mail.com A curious and diligent designer who takes inspiration from many sources including life experiences, anatomy, the fantastical and the unknown. The aim of lindseytait design is to use fashion and its influence as a channel to raise awareness of social issues and to make a difference. The brand is dedicated to having a social responsibility as well as producing superior quality crafted pieces that are one of a kind and make a statement. Striving for perfection, attention to detail is key as well as finding new and exciting ways to create, while incorporating traditional artisan techniques to produce beautifully finished products. Looking to modern technology to influence design and to push the boundaries of ‘fashion’, lindseytait design hopes to bring accessory design to new levels of what can be achieved. Born in a small town in Northern Ireland, Lindsey showed a strong passion for art and craft from a young age, which soon flourished into a love for fashion design. While completing her Foundation Diploma, Lindsey’s keen attention to detail and interest in accessories became apparent, leading to her relocation to London to attend London College of Fashion. Lindsey intends to remain in London to continue growing as a designer and to also expand her knowledge of fashion design and construction into apparel – although her main focus still remains on creating innovative and provocative fashion accessories. FdA Fashion Styling and Photography

Patcharakan (Mai) Vongprasert is a fashion stylist from the London College of Fashion. She thrives on an experimental approach to all her creative work, while capturing current and future trends in an innovative way. Mai has developed a personal interest in the representations of gender roles in fashion. She is especially inspired by androgynous representations that challenge our cultural ideals, and how contemporary fashions are embracing this movement. Mai's styling takes on many influences, as she is inspired by diverse cultural experiences. Her stylings reference classic and vintage looks from both Eastern and Western cultures, as well as contemporary and futuristic fashions. With a brand of bespoke jewellery to her name, accessories often play a crucial role in Mai's styling for completing a look. Having originally graduated with a BA in Fashion Design, Mai has a keen eye for clothes design and customisation. Her styles often incorporate customised elements to enhance the look.

The Dissectors - High Tech Fabrication and Classical Construction Set within an aesthetic reminiscent of smocks, scrubs and aprons a central aspect of this collection is the exploration of silhouette and volume. While the nature of this collection lies in its underlying purity, there is a complexity within the minimal aesthetics and the soberness that is generated by the interaction of fabrication and cut, handwork and technology, hybridisation and utilitarianism.Contact:➤ www.annabezgubenko.com➤ Linkedin➤ Facebooklookbook: photography: Benjamin Mallek | model: Dawid, Established runway: LCF MA Menswear Show, December 2013 shoot: photography: Naa Teki Lebar | model: Samuel Oxford Nielsen

Unisex, Uniforms and Layers. http://suank.net suan-k@outlook.com'No More Army' The title 'No More Army' represents a collection against military service. The outline was settled by travel Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the Great War was started. As many places within Sarajevo destroyed by bullets and bomb, the city aroused negative side of military and evoked depressing First World War period, which supports how this concept was made. Combining army uniform with women's corset stands for the restraint as a corset has its history forcing women to have the same thin waist look, considered as the similarity to the treatment of soldiers, neglected identity and changed wearers look as a bunch of warrior.

Photographer - Hamish Jordan Makeup & Hair - Luka Watabe Models - Josh Bristow, Gareth Andrews, Giquina Dancer - Saheed Omisore Director - JD Pennington"Golden SS13" aspires to a look inspired by urban dances, notably the Lockin', a funk dance created during the early seventies. This collection focuses on the different materials, fabrics and textiles employed. Leather, poplin, cotton suiting and jersey are embellished, reworked and rebuilt with a particular attention to stripes. Primarily defined by oversized silhouettes, both sporty and classic; the men's spring/summer 2013 according to Magali Confiant intends to be modern - considering functional details, with a slight hint of extravagance accentuated by textile designs, and a touch of glamour raised by metallic colours - while remaining ultra wearable.
