BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology: Surface Textiles
Embroidery/textile designer with a particular interest in hand embroidery techniques such as tambour beading. Taking unusual and often difficult subject matter and finding the beauty in the ugly to create feminine textiles for a fashion outcome.
Of Men and Beasts:
This collection is an exploration of how the ugly, damaged and brutalised can be transformed into something beautiful. By using evidence of the horrors that man can do to fellow man the sacrifices made can be seen from another angle, not something from which to be repulsed, but admired and celebrated.
