I'm very passionate about tailoring and am a keen observer. Submerging myself in art and findings from daily life, all form the basis of my ideas. Paying attention to the spirit of youth, I enjoy creating playful and uplifting outfits, to evoke our inner child: Catering for the carefree and cosmopolitan girl. My design work goes against the norms of classic tailoring. Playing to the senses in creating garments through a multiple of textures and colours.

>>OLIVIA HOWICK Olivia Howick is a Surface Textiles for Fashion graduate specializing in embroidery and embellishment, with a passion for transforming unexpected materials into luxurious fashion embellishment. Her graduate collection: ‘Medicate Me’ is a high-end ready to wear womenswear collection, that demonstrates the collision of contemporary and traditional approaches to medicine, through the exploration of Native American culture and advances in scientific medicine.The collection draws upon a textile tradition, and transforms it to demonstrate a clinical aesthetic which will appeal to the contemporary consumer. Exploration of new materials, in particular the use of PVC, has allowed for highly creative and innovative textile development through embroidery processes, that reflect on traditional craftsmanship, whilst evoking a clinical and medicinal aesthetic. Transforming materials is becoming an increasingly important aspect of Olivia’s work. This collection saw PVC hose pipes cut, dyed and stitched to become PVC beadwork. Combining this with satin stitch work and screen printed fabric, Olivia likes to work with both traditional aspects to textile design as well more unconventional material. Integral to Olivia’s practice is her illustration and drawing. Specializing in highly detailed hand rendered work, her illustration style is graphic, yet rich in textile inspired texture and detail. Olivia was selected as a finalist for the Nina de Yorke fashion illustration prize, and has also been shortlisted to compete to illustrate for the Maria Luisa website. Olivia was selected for the LCF Press Exhibition 2013 and exhibited a sculptural textile piece which demonstrated the concepts surrounding her Final Collection, as well as showcasing new textile development. The city aroused the negative side of military as many walls destroyed by bullets and bomb evoked the depressing First World War period. This is why the collection has an opposition to the military service. Combining army uniform with women's corset stands for the restraint as a corset has its history forcing women to have the same thin waist look, considered as the similarity to the treatment of soldiers, neglected identity and changed wearers look as a bunch of warrior.

Graduate of 2014 I am highly interested in pushing the boundaries of lingerie design by using innovative construction techniques and fabrics. My graduate collection of 2014 will focus on developing multipurpose garments that can be worn as lingerie as well as outerwear. Drawing inspiration from glass houses and framed panels, the collection will consist of corsets, girdles, bodies and collars where boning will be used to achieve structure and volume. Designer specializing in Contour Fashion, with an interest in textile and surface manipulation. The graduate collection takes inspiration from the concept of time and it’s fragile qualities. The collection will explore the concept of what time has brought and what it will bring. It will delve into how the power and meaning of femininity changes with time, the poignancy of becoming a women and her connection with her body. The collection seeks to display how delicate structures and layering build powerful and beautiful exteriors, that although different from their origin can often end up just as, if not more, beautiful than when it began. As a designer I am heavily inspired by the feminine. From the physical aspects to the spiritual connection women have with the natural planet. I work with heavy acknowledgement towards the importance of carrying out work in a sustainable manner and feel it is important to only use natural fibres and materials. Whilst knowing the origin of all components used, I always aim to give the wearer a positive sensual experience. Born in Israel, Liron Kliger is a London based jewellery designer who graduated a BA (HON) in Jewellery Fashion Design at the London College of Fashion. Liron developed a passion for jewellery design whilst completing a foundation in fashion design course at West London College, Liron developed a love for raw materials and desire to create unique pieces encompassing the form and essence of the material used. The primary influence on Liron’s work (apart from the raw materials) evolved from years spent living and travelling in cosmopolitan cities including Barcelona, Paris, Milan and Tel Aviv. Liron was exposed cultural idiosyncrasies which in turn influenced the way in which she combines / uses materials and their subsequent adaptation to her needs. Liron’s latest project developed from a fascination with snakeskin and infatuation with catwalk pieces; motivating her to create her own interpretation via snakeskin inspired bangles. Liron’s previous catwalk projects include a large feathered neck piece and oversized dice jewellery. In the foundation year of her BA Liron was awarded third place in the UK in a competition run by the Metro newspaper for her creation of a jewellery body suit utilising recycled materials. Some keywords have become the main points of my collection. “Hugs”, “Communication”, “Interesting”, “Fun”, “flourishing”, “a bit implication of sex”, “comfort”, “to be protected”, “to be surrounded”, ‘to cherish"“warmth”, “memory”, "happiness", “childhood”, “lifetime”, ”Let go”, etc. Interaction and communication are the action to express love and depart from loneliness between human beings. 'Hands" is the key point of the collection as very figurative object to express this abstract idea. Moreover, this small collection is developed like a short story of life. The 6 outfits represent their own story and meaning respectively.
